This LuckyWP Table of Contents plugin for WordPress sites really lives up to its name: what a chance you can benefit from a plugin of this quality and thereby improve the SEO of your website so easily. And free of charge so as not to spoil anything!

Presentation

This extension allows you to insert either automatically or manually for each new article entry, a table of contents in all your WordPress articles. In case of automatic insertion, you still have the option of not displaying a table of contents on a case-by-case basis.

Once installed, you can access the options through a specific menu: a “Table of Contents” option has appeared in the “Settings” menu of the WordPress control panel.

Customization options

The interface has a very extensive (but very clear) list of options that allows you to configure the design of your tables of contents as well as various technical aspects.

LuckyWP Table of Contents allows its users to choose between a linear or hierarchical display of titles, but also to obtain modifications concerning the size of the characters, the width, the colors, the size of the characters of the elements, the minimum number of titles so that the table of contents is not created, among other possibilities.

For the background color of the table of contents, you can choose from four models: dark, clear, transparent and white. I especially liked the dark background for my site.

But beware, one of the great features of this extension is that once a table of contents has been inserted in the article you have just written, you can still modify the default settings for a particular post which would not suit you.

LuckyWP Table of Contents also allows you to skip titles if necessary just by typing them manually.

LuckyWP Table of Contents compatibility

The LuckyWP table of contents is compatible with several truly essential extensions and builders, in addition to the Classic editor and the Gutenberg editor:

  1. Elementor, the most known WordPress Website Builder,
  2. the WordPress Multilingual Plugin WPML, officially confirmed,
  3. Rank Math extension, officially confirmed.

LuckyWP Table of Contents is also compatible with Beaver Builder and Beaver Builder Themer Add-On, WPBakery Page Builder, WP Rocket, Toolset Views and Toolset Access.

The average rating of this plugin in WordPress.org is 4.9 out of 5 stars for 554 reviews. Don’t hesitate to take a look at the website editor, there are five other extensions that may also be very useful, I haven’t tested them yet.
